J.S. Bach

Bach knew the Harpsichord and the organ well, when composing his great keyboardmusic. It is reasonable and still interesting to listen his compositions on instruments they are intended for.

This recording was produced with a by Realsamples sampled Pigall-Harsichord 1771 and the by milanaudio sampled Silbermannorgan (1721) of the St.Georgenchurch in Roetha/germany.

(A parallel recording of the complete Clavierübung on a detailed sampled Steinway D (CD121) 1951, which was already played by Rudolf Serkin and Glenn Gould is here.)
